University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Technology, Innovation and Competition (CTIC) and Warren Center for Network & Data Sciences are pleased to announce that the Economics of Digital Services Symposium II will take place September 9-10, 2022, in Philadelphia.
It will be held in-person for participants and via Zoom for the public.
EODS II will focus on the research projects awarded grants by CTIC and the Warren Center. The research covers value of data and privacy protection, context in children’s programming, algorithmic pricing software on Amazon, role of digital advertisers in mitigating misinformation, and causal conclusions about consumer and firm.
The Economics of Digital Services Initiative, established through the generosity of the Knight Foundation, provides grants to support new research into the impact of data on the business models and practices of digital platforms.
