The Warren Center welcomes its newest affiliate, Amit Gandhi

Professor Amit Gandhi joins Penn from the University of Wisconsin and Microsoft. He is an applied economist specializing in industrial organization and econometrics, and has done important work on methodological model identification of demand and production functions and in auction models.

Penn’s new CIS course will teach students technical skills to combat ethical breaches

Michael Kearns and Ani Nenkova have been developing a course, tentatively titled “Science of Data Ethics,” that they hope to offer to undergraduate students in the spring of the 2018-2019 academic year. The class will focus on ethical issues such as privacy and discrimination in machine learning.
